Par le geste de la couture, ce corpus d’œuvres en développement nous invite à ralentir et à rendre hommage aux textiles qui accompagnent discrètement notre quotidien. En gardant le fil supérieur constant tout en changeant le fil de la bobine, chaque point devient une illusion d’optique, révélant comment ce qui se trouve en dessous peut transformer ce que nous percevons. En accueillant les subtiles irrégularités du geste humain, je souhaite mettre en lumière les imperfections que nous cherchons à dissimuler.

Through the act of sewing, this developing body of work invites us to pause and honor the textiles that quietly accompany our everyday lives. By keeping the upper thread constant while changing the bobbin thread, each stitch becomes an optical illusion, revealing how what lies beneath can transform what we see. Embracing the subtle irregularities of the human hand, I wish to highlight the imperfections that we often conceal.
